Cancellation Policy

BOOKING, PAYMENT, CANCELLATION & WAITLIST POLICY All Walzys Waves bookings are request-to-book only. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee your selected date or time. Your booking is only confirmed once approved by Walzys Waves and the required deposit or full payment has been received. Multiple groups may request the same or similar time slots. Availability is confirmed manually based on boat availability, captain availability, weather, group size, service type, booking duration, requested boat, and overall schedule fit. Walzys Waves reserves the right to approve, decline, or suggest alternate times for any booking request. A deposit is required to secure all confirmed bookings. The remaining balance is due the day of the scheduled booking unless otherwise arranged. If payment is not completed by the required deadline, Walzys Waves reserves the right to release the booking time to another group on the waitlist. Deposits are non-refundable unless weather completely shuts us down. However, deposits may be transferred to another available time or date depending on circumstances and availability. Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled booking may have their deposit transferred to another available date during the same season, and/or a refund may be considered by Walzys Waves depending on the waitlist. Cancellations made 3–6 days before the scheduled booking may result in the deposit being forfeited unless Walzys Waves is able to fill the time slot with another booking. Cancellations made within 48 hours, no-shows, or same-day cancellations are non-refundable. Weather-related cancellations are determined by Walzys Waves. If conditions are unsafe due to severe weather, high winds, lightning, or other safety concerns, Walzys Waves will work with the group to reschedule the booking or provide a refund or credit toward a future available date. Cloudy weather, cooler temperatures, light rain, or personal schedule changes do not automatically qualify for a weather cancellation if conditions are still considered safe for boating. Walzys Waves reserves the right to delay, modify, reschedule, or cancel any booking due to unsafe weather, mechanical issues, lake conditions, or safety concerns. Waitlisted groups may be contacted if a requested time becomes available. A waitlist spot does not hold or guarantee a booking. The time slot is only secured once approved by Walzys Waves and the required deposit or payment has been received.
